♡ i offer to take her to my terrible rental at the time, a middle class shack that looked like it was assembled from spare parts & hope, just to show where i was at so far. somehow that turned into her showing me around the world shortly after. & they werent just locations… they felt special. places with mood, color, & sense of calm. she wasnt only showing me the world of sl, she was showing me her sense of wonder..
tagging along with her felt like being let in on a secret version of second life i never knew existed yet.....
♡ weeks later, shes become one of the sweetest women ive ever met, online & irl. she listens in a way that makes you feel like your words land somewhere safe.. shes attentive, understanding, patient… the kind of presence that slows your thoughts down just enough to breathe... my interactions with her dont feel transactional or surface level by any means, they feel intentional.
♡ & im 100% sure ive annoyed the hell out her more times than i can count. overthinking, double texting energy all the time, being emotional… all of it. but she never once made me feel small about it. no belittling, no eye rolling, no quiet withdrawal, just steady reassurance.
♡ sometimes i genuinely dont know what she saw in me that made her stick around long enough to look past my flaws beyond just being kind to her. but she did. & she still does. & that says more about her heart than anything...
